our bodies waiting for an Operation

schools Scrabble together lessons of life and literature

If only we had a Clue

but there is never space to move when we're busy Risking it all

so full are our worlds with Snakes and Ladders

but illusions have us strolling in Candyland

this is why we can never Guess Who is on our side rooting for us

so maybe put all your cards away
